Admissions

Admissions Policy

Although St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is a Catholic School within the Diocese of Clifton it is ‘Open to All’ regardless of Religion*. By law the Governors of the School control admissions to the school and admit children to the school in accordance with their published Admissions policy. The Admissions Policy can be found in full below.

You can apply by completing an application online or by completing a common paper application form.

In Year Transfers

If you are looking to transfer schools and wish your child/children to attend St Joseph’s then you would need to formally apply direct to Wiltshire Council either on-line: www.wiltshire.gov.uk or by post.  The application form can be found on their website: www.wiltshire.gov.uk and look for the ‘Schools’ page, alternatively they can be contacted on 01225 713010.

In addition to the formal application the school also requires a Supplementary Information Form to be completed, this can be found below. From September 2022, all in-year applications will need to use the In Year Application Form above.

Secondary School Places

Applications for Secondary school places need to be with Wiltshire County by 31st October 2022.

If you have any further admissions related enquiries, please email the Clerk to Governors (Mr Danny Holland): dholland@stjosdevizes.wilts.sch.uk
